"Black and White"
I've been following several card artists, enjoying the blog hops, enjoying the creativity but haven't yet put myself out and entered one of the challenges. I happened upon the Seize The Birthday Challenge and decided it was time to throw caution to the wind and give it a shot.
So here is my card. I started with the Tea Together (148779) Cling stamp set from the 2019 Occasions Catalog. I stamped using the Classic Black Stampin' Pad onto one of the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Papers that you can get FREE with a $50 purchase.
Next I stamped the teapot in Versa Mark ink onto Black card stock and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Both images were fussy cut to achieve all the pieces. I stamped the flower on White card stock with Versa Mark ink and used black embossing powder, then fussy cut all of the tea pot pieces and the flower. I used Wink of Stella on the flower for some "pop" then adhered all of the black pieces to the tea pot. The sentiment was stamped using the Endless Birthday Wishes (140273) stamp set, die cut with the smallest oval die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits (145372); the black mat was die cut using one of the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies (141706).
